  • 目前由中国地质调查局主持的,在全国范围内开展的1∶50000与1∶250000比例尺的地质调查填图是一项极其重要的基础性国土调查工作,相应的1∶50000与1∶250000地质图是其主要成果之一。在这些野外调查研究的基础上,从更大区域(如一个构造单元或跨越构造单元)通过编制小比例尺地质图进行综合研究,将可能对一个区域的构造特征、重大地质问题进行深入解释并得出新的认识。20世纪40年代,已故著名地质学家黄汲清曾主持编制1∶1000000国际分幅地质图14幅,在编图过程中系统总结了中国的大地构造单元,出版了《中国主要地质构造单位》一书,奠定了中国境…
